The Alignment Shift Meme

alienbox original!

Is your character usually the good guy, the bad guy, or the guy on the sidelines who just wanted to get to work on time? Wherever their ethical and moral standards usually lied, they've been changed. Was it due to magic, technology, or have things always been this way?
The Rules
1. Figure out which alignment your character would normally be. Are they more good or evil? Are they more concerned with obeying the law or with doing their own thing? And so on.
2. Choose an alignment different than what they'd normally be. This doesn't have to be as dramatic as going from good to bad. There's a sliding scale of good, evil, and neutral. Feel free to keep their moral standards the same while their ethics are different or visa versa.
3. Comment to this post with an opening scenario setting up your character's change along with any preferences that you have. Be sure to include what their new alignment is in the subject line!
4. Tag around to other people and interact with them. Whether you keep your character's old alignment or swap theirs out as well is up to you!

Ben Tennyson | Lawful Evil
While a Ben Tennyson in another timeline gave up Ascalon along with all its original powers plus those it absorbed from Diagon, this Ben kept the sword and the Ultimatrix. He's fallen to the corrupting power of both, obsessed with finding a way to use them to create a universe where evil no longer exists and he doesn't have to fight anymore.
Fortunately, he doesn't have enough control over Ascalon to be able to take away people's free will. Yet. However, he's learning to master its power by using it and the Ultimatrix against anyone who stands in his way of making the world a more peaceful one.
Ben tends to go full-throttle, not holding back or caring much if the bad guy is harmed. While once he would've insisted on taking enemies down and not out, he now considers their safety and even their lives forfeit for trying to harm the people he wishes to protect or to stop him from managing to achieve his goal of "eradicating evil".
